MoProwlerI need to repair my Prowler (engine light is ON and cannot pass the smog test). Dealerships will not service it and recommended that I find a local mechanic. Any recommendation in Los Angeles???
Scott99AutoZone will attach a code reader for free and tell you what the error code means. Then find a local shop and go from there. You'll have more information once you know what error code your dealing with. Then come back to this site and search on the error code. There's probably someone here that has had the error before.

cstallYou can get a basic Nonda OBD code readef for free: http://www.nonda.co/products/smart-vehicle-health-monitor-mini
Plug it into your OBD port, install the app and read the results on your phone
mslc10with your code reader it will give you the option to clear the code also. my experience with my code ( minor evap leak),is once I clear it it wont reappear until cold start. so I clear code right before i get it inspected.
MoProwlerThanks Everyone for the help, but I am still struggling with the Prowler.... Summary of the situation:
- Low Tire: Dealer told me that I need to find someone with DRB3 scanner to relearn sensors. Any idea who has this in LA???

- Check Engine - code: P0455 Evap system cracked hose at charcoal canister, removed and replaced hose. SOLVED!

- Check Engine - code P0601 Part #R4686966-AA

Still need a trusted mechanic in LA 😂

TomcalP0601 is Internal Failure of PCM. (Power-Train Control Module)

Send PCM to B&G Performance for repair/service/bypass or whatever they do.

Finding a new or re-manufacture PCM is extremely difficult and expensive.

Many Prowler owners have used B&G with great success.

TomcalBatteries in tire pressure senors have most likely expired.

Batteries cannot be replaced.
